Lori May, APRN - C

Lori is a board certified adult nurse practitioner who has been practicing advanced cardiology since graduating from the University of Central Florida with the Master's of Science in Nursing in 2007.

Lori's advanced practice background includes a focus on the following:

• Preventive cardiology
• Ischemic heart disease
• Heart failure
• Hypertension
• Pacemaker / Device Management

Prior to her MSN, she gained 17 years of acute care nursing experience working in the CCU, ICU, CVICU, Cardiology Testing, and Cath Lab areas in Illinois and Florida.

Besides Lori's board certification, she is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life support. She is passionate about providing care according to current guideline directed medical therapies and considers each patient's individual wellness goals when assessing their healthcare needs. She brings empathy and a warm demeanor when communicating with patients, aiding in establishing solid interpersonal relationships that are unique to our practice.
